After graduating university Karen landed a job as a Strategic Project Manager in Advertising and gained ample experience in Marketing and communication. She later steered her career in a new direction as a Tour Director traveling and guiding all around Europe, building valuable connections. Karen has had a lifelong interest in interior design, architecture, and the housing market, this eventually brought her to Real Estate.

She brings a global perspective to discussions with clients because of her extensive travels; she has been to 41 countries across 6 continents. She is fluent in English, Dutch and speaks Portuguese, French, German and Spanish.

She has the innate ability to understand and meet her clients’ needs and prides herself in being viewed as a trusted advisor throughout the process. Karen’s clients are drawn to her work ethic, integrity, patience, enthusiasm, and ability to get deals done.

Some of the reasons Karen moved here in 2015 are surfing, amazing beaches, 300 days of sun and the international community.
